One of the most important aspects of having a prosperous financial life, includes maintaining proper credit.  While you can choose to never use credit in your life; the chances are you won’t.  Our economy runs on credit, and not having it, puts you at a serious disadvantage when it comes time to purchase items you’re interested in.  Unfortunately, acquiring and maintaining proper credit isn’t given the serious planning that it should.  Credit is so commonplace, and so powerful, yet so easily misused, neglected, and disrespected.
